Thirty-two junior sailors kicked off the 3rd running of the RS Tera SoCal High Point Series at Westlake Yacht Club. Up to 45 Teras have participated at North Americans, and 20 to 25 at Series events. Westlake is a hidden gem just a couple miles from the 101 Fwy. The wind is like clockwork, and true to lake architect Bill Ficker's design, filled in right on time at 1pm. A perfect eight knots held all afternoon, six races were completed with a snack break, parents enjoyed front row views from the shady patio - all preceded by free hamburger lunch for the sailors.
